• Caption: Close-up of the historic photo of Duck Creek Road and the N&W trestle at Dana Avenue, looking northeast from Potomac Avenue. In 1929 Vista Avenue was connected to Dana with a bridge over Duck Creek on the far side of Potomac. The guys in the weeds on the left are surveying for the new bridge. The large structure behind the Dana Oil Company gas station is a coal dumping platform for transferring to wagons. All of this was obliterated for construction of I-71.
