Historic photo of the B&O station in Oakley, looking east towards Madison Road. The station itself remains today, but the building at left does not, nor do most of the yard tracks beyond the left platform. The car crossing the tracks is on Madison Road, which was rerouted under the tracks in 1959. When originally built in 1871 the station had a small tower over the bay window, but it was removed sometime in the early part of the 20th century.
