Southern Railway - Norfolk Southern, Central Division, Cincinnati New Orleans & Texas Pacific 1st District
0008_nr384
Historic photo of Queensgate and the various railroad yards and viaducts, looking east from the north approach to the Cincinnati Southern Bridge. 6th Street is barely visible at the right, and the current 6th Street Expressway runs along the right side of this photo now. The viaduct from the previous photo is running across the center, whose piers are all that remain today. The C&O viaduct can be seen directly behind it curving to the east. The small truss bridge in the distance is part of the viaduct that used to connect the Waterfront Belt Line with the Mill Creek Valley railroads.
