Approximately the same view as the last photo in the current day, looking southwest. The landscaping in the foreground has changed, and the old Central Bridge was replaced by the Taylor Southgate Bridge, and Covington actually has a skyline now. Not much in the foreground has changed except for the trees and the consession stand. The three flag poles and five black light poles remain (at least in location) from the 1980's.
