Underneath the Waldvogel Viaduct in Lower Price Hill, looking west along River Road. Like the Western Hills Viaduct to the north, this structure was also built as part of the Union Terminal project. Completed in the early 1940s, it used a much different construction method, and with more ramps and retaining walls it was a much more dangerous and congested roadway than its older sibling. This entire structure was replaced between 2011 and 2014.
