Street Lights, Poles, & Traffic Signals
0060_DSC_3309
Close-up of the 1926-1929 era Crouse-Hinds Type T signal at Sherman and Allison in Norwood. Even though the paint is in rough shape, this signal is cast aluminum, so it's not in immediate danger of rusting out. Nevertheless, this has been here for a very long time, and it could use a little TLC. Notice that the green lens says "GO" on it. The yellow lens says "CAUTION" and some of the other sides still have the original red lenses that say "STOP" on them as well.
