Purpose of Drawing
This is a drawing of a
train station on the former Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee
Railroad. This railroad line, which paralleled the Union Pacific
North Line through Lake County, IL, was abandoned in 1955. The
drawing was based off of a photograph of the station taken in the
1920's. This was an exercise in pencil drawing technique at a
large scale (about 15" x 20").
