Historic photo of the Big Four turn to the cut in the hill at North Bend, with the CL&A next to it, looking southeast from Harrison's Tomb. The CL&A track is distinct from the Big Four as it takes a somewhat more undulating path to the left. At the exact center of the photo the dark tracks of mud indicate River Road turning onto Miami Avenue behind the houses in the middle ground, while the CL&A splits off River then starts climbing up the Big Four's embankment.
