Cracks in the street reveal buried tracks for the end of Route 8 Eastern Avenue at Durrett Street in Covington near the edge of Wallace Woods, looking southwest from Eastern. Durrett is a legit street to the left (east) of here, but the streetcar ran on a private right-of-way from here to Garrard. A few houses were built back here after abandonment so this short bit was paved and became an extension of Durrett.
