End of the Latonia line at the south end of Carlisle Avenue, looking south towards the Interplastic warehouse. This was a single-track balloon loop running counter clockwise from 35th to Carlisle to a private right-of-way to Latonia Avenue and back to 35th. It's unclear how far south the tracks went before turning east, but the diagonal clice in the concrete pavement marks the border between Covington and Ft. Wright, so it's more likely that the tracks turned left immediately to avoid crossing jurisdictions. If the tracks did continue farther south, no evidence remains because of the Interplastic building construction, as well as later construction of the Latonia Avenue underpass at the L&N/CSX Railroad.
