Purpose of Drawing
This drawing represents a number of hours of free time spent experimenting with pencil drawing. It was done simply to use up free time, and also hone artistic abilities. This drawing was even done in a spiral notebook, the lines in the paper were removed with Adobe Photoshop. This is also an attempt to create an imaginary street scene based on real history. In this case, the scene is of a narrow street or alley in Cincinnati. Some of the historically accurate elements include Limestone and Sandstone foundation walls along with ornate lintels and cornices on these Italianate style buildings.
